5 XXL man Colorman presses 

 

The new Knowsley site was born out of, and on, the existing News International Newspapers site at Prescot on the outskirts of Liverpool.

 

Operating since summer 2007, the new plant houses five manroland Colorman XXL presses and is capable of producing 430,000 newspaper copies an hour.

 

The five new Colorman presses, fed by up to 220 plates an hour from each of five Agfa CTP lines, are installed in-line and configured in pairs of five units on each side of two folders, plus a single press of five units with its own dedicated folder.
